WIN WHEN YOU'RE SINGING!
ROBBIE WILLIAMS looks set to top the charts again after sales of his records increased by 250 per cent following his record-breaking KNEBWORTH concerts over the weekend (August 1-3).

The singer is on course to hit Number One in the album charts on Sunday (August 10) with 'Escapology' for the first time since January 11. The album, released last December, is currently selling faster than last week's Number One, [a][/a]'s 'Magic And Medicine'.

HMV spokesperson Gennaro Castaldo said: "The album's been flying off the shelves."

Williams ' other four studio albums - 'Life Thru A Lens', 'I've Been Expecting You', 'Sing When You're Winning' and 'Swing When You're Winning' - have also experienced a boost in sales. All five albums are now inside the Top 75 - a feat believed to have not been seen since The Beatles in the 1970s.

As previously reported on NME.COM, Williams performed to 375,000 fans at Knebworth between August 2-4 - the biggest gig ever to hit the UK. For the full report, get this week's NME - out on Wednesday (August 6).
