Kerstin Fritzl wakes up to the singer's hits after two-month coma

The infamous victim of abuse from her grandfather Josef Fritzl, who kept her in a dungeon in Austria until authorities found her recently, woke from a two-month coma by listening to Robbie Williams songs.

Williams' hits were played to Kerstin Fritzl through headphones for three days before she left the coma.

According to The Sun, Fritzl, 19, who had never been in the open air before she was rescued earlier this year, is now able to dance to the songs, and has indicated that she wants to see Williams play live.

Her doctor, Albert Reiter, explained: "She was sitting up in bed, waving her arms and dancing. One night I had to order her to finally go to sleep at 3am as she kept listening to Robbie Williams' CDs."

Hahahaha! That's the best thing I've ever heard! Obviously the whole dungeon subject isn't, but the quote "One night I had to order her to finally go to sleep at 3am as she kept listening to Robbie Williams' CDs" may be the best thing I've ever heard! I'd love to know what NME's sources are as the BBC only says "She told doctors that she would like to travel on a ship and listen to a Robbie Williams concert". Oh dear, this has made my day.

It is absolutely atrocious what this poor girl has had to go through. It is totally an ordeal you would not wish upon your worst enemy. I mean, having to listen to Robbie Williams - My heart gos out to her

Ecstatic though I am about the girl waking up -what a relief for her family- I have to say this piece of news only furthers the tragedy of the situation. It may be disgraceful for me to say so, but I think the awfulness of Fritzl's imposed ordeal is perhaps best shown by this one fact: his daughter's favourite 'musician' is none other than Robbie Williams.

It would certainly wake me... I'd be out of the bed and over to the CD player to switch the blessed thing off!
