Robbie Williams premiered three tracks from 'SING WHEN YOU'RE WINNING', his forthcoming album, during a brief live set in Singapore on Sunday night (July 16).
In addition to new single 'Rock DJ', he debuted 'Better Man' and 'Forever Texas'. 'Better Man' is the track that his new sometime writing partner Kelvin Andrews felt was better than 'Angels'.
Williams' seven-song set in Zouk, his first ever in south east Asia, was a showcase for competition winners and the region's media.
A UK spokesperson for the singer said the show "went extremely well and everyone is very pleased. 'She's The One' and 'Angels' were massive hits out there so he played them as well, and it went great."
It was only Robbie's second live performance of the year, following his two songs at Brixton Academy in June as part of Ian Dury's tribute show.
Williams has now moved on to New Zealand and Australia for further promotional tours. Fans can keep an eye on their hero through his website, www.robbiewilliams.com, where frequent photographs from the tour will be posted.
As previously reported on nme.com, Williams will release 'Sing When You're Winning', his third album, through Chrysalis on August 28.
