Robbie Williams announces comeback album and single
New album set for November release
Robbie Williams has announced details of his comeback album and single.
The former Take That singer will release 'Reality Killed The Video Star', his first studio album since 2006's 'Rudebox', on November 9. A single, 'Bodies', will be released on October 12.
The album, which will be Williams' eighth, was produced by Trevor Horn (Belle & Sebastian, Pet Shop Boys, Paul McCartney) in London.
The announcement apparently brings to an end Williams' 'strike' against his record label, EMI, which began in January as a protest against Terra Firma, the company that bought the label.
At the time his manager Tim Clark said he believed that Terra Firma chief Guy Hands had acted like a "plantation owner".
The new releases will appear on Virgin EMI.
Aside from music, Williams has also developed a keen interest in the paranormal over the past few years. The singer co-hosted a BBC Radio 4 documentary about aliens in May 2008.
