Robbie Williams and Take That reunite in New York studio? Robbie Williams Tickets

Singer reportedly in New York songwriting sessions

Robbie Williams has reportedly been in the studio with his former band Take That.

According to the Daily Mirror, the singer met up with his former bandmates in Electric Lady studios in New York to work together for the first time since Williams left the band in 1995.

The newspaper is quoting a source saying that Williams "is back with Take That in the studio and they're all writing together again. Robbie wouldn't be happy performing old Take That songs that he has had no part in. But if they can pen new tracks that they're all happy with, they'll record them and hell be back with them on stage".

A spokesperson for Take That though told NME.COM that the report was "unconfirmed" at present, and that the band were not in New York to record, but to "approve final mixes" for their first-ever live album, 'The Greatest Day', which will be released at the end of November.

Earlier this month Williams outlined his desire to rejoin Take That in a UK radio interview. He releases a new solo album, 'Reality Killed The Video Star', on November 9.

NNNOOO!! beautiful world and circus, are two brilliant albums, bringing robbie back is just going to ruin things, and also howard (take thats best singer in my opinion) and jason would probably not get any lead vocal duties. so guys don't let him back he left not caring what happened and now he is crawling back, close the door to him
