ROBBIE AND LIAM - NOW IT'S LOVE!

The nation yawns a sigh of relief as pop's most childish battle ends with hugs and kisses all round...

ROBBIE AND LIAM - NOW IT'S LOVE!

After months of pointless bickering, ROBBIE WILLIAMS has finally admitted his feud with LIAM GALLAGHER was "really silly", and the pair have now "patched up our differences".

Speaking in an interview on Radio 1 this afternoon (December 1), Williams said he and Gallagher "bumped into each other" earlier this week, and it was "really nice to see him".

Speaking about the pair's relationship, Williams said: "We've patched up our differences and I don't really want to go into it but we've had a chat and I think we've both come to the conclusion I think privately the pair of us were just like, 'This is really silly'...

"We don't really mean any of this and I think the pair of us are too stubborn to back down. We just bumped into each other this week and it was really nice to see him and I wish them both (Liam and pregnant girlfriend, Nicole Appleton) the best of luck. (I) gave them both a hug and went on my way and I hope Nicky keeps safe and I hope the baby does fine...

"He said no matter how smart you think you are or I think I am the only people who are winning in this are the press - at the beginning of it all it was quite a laugh and then it just become too destructive. You know, it was not nice. So I'm really pleased that I've spoken to him I'm really pleased I've seen him."

In other, unrelated news, Robbie Williams releases a new single, 'Supreme', on December 11 through EMI.
