ROB REFUSES TO CHARGE

The star claims the man who joined him "obviously needs medical help"...

ROBBIE WILLIAMS will not press charges against the man who attacked him onstage in GERMANY on Wednesday (February 21).

Accordiing to reports in the UK press this morning (February 23), Williams said: "This man obviously needs medical help. I will not be pressing charges."

However, his 20 year-old attacker, who evaded security at the Schleyerhalle Stadium in Stuttgart and landed a punch on Williams before pushing him into the front of stage pit, is due in court today (February 23). German authorities have decided to bring charges of grievous bodily harm and intimidation.

The man, currently being held in a psychiatric unit in Stuttgart, has a history of mental illness. He is said to have believed Williams was a clone.

Williams was not seriously injured in the attack and completed the show.
