'STUPID' NEWS!

The bookmakers lower the odds on 'Somethin' Stupid'...

'STUPID' NEWS!

Bookmaker WILLIAM HILL has shortened the odds on the ROBBIE WILLIAMS & NICOLE KIDMAN duet 'SOMETHIN' STUPID' becoming the Christmas Number One.

The track, a cover of the Frank and Nancy Sinatra classic, has had its odds shortened from 2/1 to 7/4 favourite to be the Christmas chart topper, following the decision of Atomic Kitten not to release their single 'You Are Next Monday' before the New Year.

Speaking about the chart battle, spokesperson Serena Momberg said: "This year there are some top artists vying for the prestigious Number One position, I am not surprised some artists are intimidated and opting for a less competitive slot"

'Titanic' actress Kate Winslet is now 7-1 second favourite for the top with her debut 'What If?', which was recorded as the theme for the made-for-TV remake of Charles Dickens' classic 'A Christmas Carol'.
