PALMER TO BE BURIED IN SWITZERLAND

Robert Palmer
will be buried in SWITZERLAND, his manager has revealed.

The veteran singer, who died on Friday (26 September), will be laid to rest in the town of Lugano, which he had adopted as his hometown, according to the BBC.

Robert Palmer’s manager Nick Cater said: "Robert lived in Switzerland for the last 15 years, and that is where he wanted to be. He said it was the first home he ever had."

Robert Palmer died in Paris of what is believed to be a heart attack, although the cause of death is yet to be released following a post mortem examination. An announcement is expected next week. Mr Cater continued: "We have no reason to believe he died from anything other than a massive heart attack."

Having now been released by French authorities, Robert Palmer’s body will be taken back to Switzerland.
