Rod Stewart announces first UK and Irish tour in five years
Seven solo dates announced - ticket details
Rod Stewart has announced a seven-date UK and Irish arena tour in spring 2010 - his first in five years.
The singer will hit the road for a series of shows kicking off at the Dublin O2 on May 11. The jaunt will also take in a date at London's O2 Arena.
Tickets go on sale at 9am (GMT) on November 27.
The newly-announced tour casts doubt on the likelihood that Stewart will team up with his old band Faces. Keyboardist Ian McLagan has already admitted that they may hit the road in 2010 without him.
Rod Stewart will play:
Dublin O2 (May 11)
Belfast Odyssey (15)
Newcastle Metro Arena (18)
Nottingham Arena (20)
Birmingham NIA (22)
Manchester MEN (26)
London O2 Arena (29)
