Rod Stewart has vowed to open up all the secrets of his sex life in his memoirs.
He is currently writing his autobiography, and in it he will talk about his time in the Jeff Beck Group and the Faces, as well as his three marriages and numerous romantic conquests – the singer has eight children by five different women, and he once dated actress Britt Ekland.
The veteran singer admitted he had to think "long and hard" before agreeing to pen the memoirs. He commented:
It is a funny old thing telling my life story but I truly intend to hold nothing back. I’ve had quite a life, known some extraordinary people and had some amazing experiences. Forget skeletons in the closet; this one’s going to be socks and knickers under the bed.
The book is scheduled to hit the shelves in October 2012.
Stewart, who is playing a lengthy Las Vegas residency this year, recently spoke about rumours he's set to rejoin the Faces, commenting that although he'd "love" to reunite with the band, finding time may be difficult.
