Roger Waters makes most of renewed interest in his former band and also gears up for World Tour...

Former Pink Floyd man ROGER WATERS is to release a career spanning retrospective album to coincide with his forthcoming World Tour.

The Pink Floyd founder will release 'Flickering Flame - The Solo Years, Volume 1' through Columbia on May 6. Piggybacking on the success of the Pink Floyd Greatest Hits of last year, the album will lifts songs from his three solo albums and his live album plus two rare demo recordings. It was put together by former Pink Floyd and Waters producer James Guthrie.

The tracklisting is as follows:
'Knockin' On Heavens Door - (never before released).
'Too Much Rope' - (from Amused To Death).
'The Tide Is Turning' - ( from Radio Kaos).
'Perfect Sense Part l & ll' - (from In The Flesh - Live).
'Three Wishes' - (from Amused To Death).
'Every Strangers Eyes' - (from The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking).
'Who Needs Information' (Remix - from Radio Kaos).
'Each Small Candle' - (from In The Flesh - Live).
'Flickering Flame' (Demo) - (New Song).
'Towers Of Faith' - (from When The Wind Blows, OST, 1987).
'Radio Waves' - (from Radio Kaos).
'Lost Boys Calling' (Original Demo) - (from The Legend Of 1900, OST, 1999).


Waters kicks off a series of live dates in the UK, as part of his 'In The Flesh World Tour 2002' in Birmingham's NEC on June 21. He moves to Manchester Evening News Arena (22) and London Wembley Arena (26, 27). He'll also be playing at Glastonbury over the weekend of June 28-30.
