Rolo Tomassi: new bands are more exciting than KISS
Newcomers want to see the smaller acts at Download
Rolo Tomassi are more excited about seeing other bands playing Download this year than the Friday festival headliners Kiss.
The quintet, who played earlier today on the festival’s Gibson stage, have been at Download since 4am (BST) this morning and said they are camping on the site.
Vocalist Eva Spence said: “I’m really excited about seeing Fall Of Troy and Rival Schools and bands like that.”
She then added: “I’d prefer to see Dillinjah over Kiss to be honest.”
The band haven’t had much chance of a rest – they played Oxford[/a] last night and drove straight from the gig.
[b]Spence said: “We arrived at like half four this morning we played Oxford last night and we didn’t go on until quarter to twelve cos it was running an hour late – so four hours sleep and then we had to get ready and try and find our way here. It’s been such a chaotic couple of hours.”
