The Victoria's Secret model will appear alongside Tom Hardy in the belated sequel
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has joined the cast of the new Mad Max movie.
According to Deadline, the Victoria’s Secret model-turned-actress will play one of the five wives in the belated sequel.
Huntington-Whiteley, 25, made her screen debut as Shia LaBeouf’s love interest in last year’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Mad Max: Fury Road will star Tom Hardy in the title role made famous by Mel Gibson in three films released between 1979 and 1985.
Charlize Theron will also star in the fourth instalment of the futuristic film series, which is being helmed by George Miller, director of the original trilogy.
Production on Mad Max: Fury Road was scheduled to start last year, but shooting has yet to begin. Last month Hardy made light of the delayed start date, saying: “We keep moving that around, you know? Who knows when it’ll come out? I’ve been on standby for two years… but it’s all part of it. It’s kind of the cool thing to do, to be elusive with dates and all that.”
