Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page turns up to watch Royal Blood in New York

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page turned up to watch Brighton duo Royal Blood at their gig in New York this week (May 12).

The band were playing New York's Grasslands venue, where they were watched by the guitarist.

"My hero came to my gig," singer Mike Kerr wrote on Facebook. "I'm alive."

Last month, Royal Blood revealed a new song titled 'Come On Over'. Listen to it below.

The song was released after the band's appearance on this year's NME Awards Tour with Austin, Texas alongside Interpol, Temples and Circa Waves.

The duo have a string of live shows scheduled for May, including a gig supporting Arctic Monkeys at Finsbury Park in London at the end of May, featuring on the bill alongside Miles Kane and Tame Impala.
