Singer pens track for Linda Thompson
Rufus Wainwright has penned a song for folk legend Linda Thompson.
Wainwright has written the song ’Beauty’ especially for Thompson’s new album ’Versatile Heart’, which is released on August 13.
Also featured on the album are Martha Wainwright and Thompson’s children Teddy and Kamila.
Tracks included on the album include a version of Tom Waits' ’Day After Tomorrow’, of which Thompson said: “I think it’s the best anti-war song since Dylan’s ’Masters Of War’," reports Paste.
