The singer/songwriter is in demand

Rufus Wainwright has extended his forthcoming UK tour.

The singer, who will be promoting new album 'Release The Stars', will play a second date at Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium on October 15 after selling out the previous night.

The revised list of dates is as follows:

Gateshead The Sage (October 13)
Glasgow Clyde Auditorium (14/15)
Liverpool Philharmonic Hall (17)
Manchester Apollo (18)
Sheffield City Hall (19)
Cambridge Corn Exchange (21)
Cardiff Millennium Centre (22)
Birmingham Symphony Hall (25/26)
Harrogate International Centre (27)
London Hammersmith Apollo (30/31)


Tickets for the new date go onsale at 9am on Saturday (August 4).
