Rufus Wainwright announces new CD and DVD
Pianist to bring out Judy Garland set for Christmas
Rufus Wainwright is to release a CD and DVD of his live recreation of Judy Garland’s legendary Carnegie Hall concert.
A live CD recorded at the famed New York venue, ‘Rufus Does Judy At Carnegie Hall’, is set for release on the same day as a DVD, ‘Rufus! Rufus! Rufus! Does Judy! Judy! Judy! Live At The London Palladium’.
The sets both commemorate Wainwright’s performances of Garland’s ‘Judy At Carnegie Hall’ album from 1961.
They will be released on December 3.
