Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Q-Tip for J.A.M. Awards
Run DMC will host benefit show in New York next month
Snoop Dogg, De La Soul and Q-Tip have been confirmed to play the very first J.A.M. Awards and concert at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York next month.
Marley Marl, Mobb Deep, Talib Kweli and Raekwon are also on the bill for the awards which will take place on November 29.
The event was set up to “show the world the most positive aspects of rap by promoting the lateJam Master Jay’s vision of justice, arts and music.”
It will benefit The Jam Master Jay Foundation for Music which was founded by his wife Terri Corley-Mizell and Run-DMC.
The foundation supports music and arts education in rural and urban schools.
