Ryan Adams to play Stonehenge

He'll take part in Salisbury Arts Festival in June

Ryan Adams has announced his first gig in support of his forthcoming album, and it will be at Stonehenge.

The American rocker will play at the site of the prehistoric stone monument on June 5 as part of the Salisbury International Arts Festival.

The Festival is held annually and features artists from around the world who perform over 17 days in Salisbury and the surrounding areas.

Tickets to the event are not yet available, but those interested should email marketing@salisburyfestival.co.uk and they will be notified when tickets go on sale.

As previously announced, Adams is set to release 'Easy Tiger' -- the follow-up to 2006's '29' -- in June.
