He achieves highest chart position to date

Ryan Adams adds dates to US jaunt
Ryan Adams has added several dates to his North American summer jaunt after selling out many of his previously scheduled shows.

The singer-songwriter is supporting his new album, 'Easy Tiger', which came out in the US on June 25 and debuted at Number Seven on SoundScan's Top 200. This is Adams' highest first-week sales and chart position to date.

Adams has added shows in several California cities including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Santa Cruz as well as shows in Seattle, Portland and Vancouver.

The remaining tour dates are:
