Ryan Adams records hair metal song for blog
Singer is also going to be writing a column for the blog
Ryan Adams has recorded and given away a heavy metal pastiche song to blog The Awl.
Called 'The Awl, The Song (Hair Metal Version)', the track has been uploaded to Theawl.com for fans to download for free. It features Adams singing in a high-pitched voice about the site.
Adams has also started writing a regular blog on Theawl.com, under the name D.R. Adams. His first post is titled 'Gorf, The End Of The World, And The Legacy Of Danzig'.
Meanwhile, Adams is to become an artist in residence at New York's Morrison Hotel Gallery this September. He will debut a collection of his own artwork at the gallery on September 23.
