Ryan Adams to collaborate with Deadmau5
American alt-rocker Ryan Adams seems to be working on an unlikely collaboration with dance titan Deadmau5.

The singer-songwriter tweeted details of the collaboration earlier this week along with pictures of himself with the DJ.

"Recording a track with my new pal ?@deadmau5 today. Sounds like BladeRunner starring Don Henley," he wrote. Deadmau5 then re-tweeted the post. He then posted a picture of himself with the EDM giant with the caption "BladeWalker". There is no word yet on when any of the material will be released.

Adams, who released his 13th studio album 'Ashes & Fire' last year, revealed recently that he has joined The Lemonheads and will produce their next album.

He is also set to record an album with his wife Mandy Moore. The couple, who married in March 2009, will work together on Moore's new studio album, which is due out in 2013. ?

Speaking about her plans for her seventh studio album, Moore said: "I'm probably going to work with my husband on this album. I'm not sure necessarily in what capacity, but we've been writing a little bit together. He has a studio, so I definitely want to make my record there."

Deadmau5 released his sixth studio album '> album title goes here <', on September 24.
