Ryan Adams has announced a trio of UK gigs to take place this September.

The singer-songwriter will play London O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire on September 19, following it with shows at Manchester Albert Hall (September 24) and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (September 25). Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (August 1).

Adams will release his new album 'Ryan Adams' on September 8. The LP was produced by Adams at his Pax-Am Studios in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The album follows 2011's 'Ashes & Fire', and will feature recent single 'Gimme Something Good'.

Ryan Adams previewed songs from the album at his performance at Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island over the weekend, playing three songs from the record, plus a new, non-album track called 'Catherine'.

Ryan Adams plays:

London O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire (September 19)
Manchester Albert Hall (24)
Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (25)
