Ryan Adams has announced that his full cover album of Taylor Swift's '1989' will be released next week.

Adams took to Twitter today to let fans know the final album will get a full digital release on Monday (September 21), with fans able to pre-order from 9pm PDT tonight. He also shared the album’s cover art and revealed his full version of Swift’s 'Bad Blood' would get its premiere on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio show tonight (Sep 17).

Taylor Swift tweeted her response to the news, writing, "Ryan's music helped shape my songwriting. This is surreal and dreamlike."

Adams announced that he would be recording the cover version at the start of August and has been keeping fans updated with his progress, posting various behind the scenes video clips and photos on Twitter and Instagram.

Adams has already shared previews of 'Welcome To New York', 'Bad Blood', 'All You Had To Do Was Stay', 'Out Of The Woods', 'Wildest Dreams' and 'Shake It Off'.

Upon hearing about the record, Swift expressed her excitement, saying that she would "pass out". Later adding: "not gonna be able to sleep tonight or ever again and I'm going to celebrate today every year as a holiday".
