YOU KNOW THE SCORE

They're both doing the score for Tarantino's new film...

METALLICA drummer LARS ULRICH has been approached to work with WU-TANG CLAN mainman RZA on the musical score for the next QUENTIN TARANTINO film, 'KILL BILL'.

It marks the first time that Ulrich has been asked to write music for a feature, MTV reports. RZA has already written the score for Jim Jarmusch's 'Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai' and his obsession with kung-fu and martial arts makes him an ideal choice for 'Kill Bill'.

'Kill Bill' is a martial arts revenge picture, starring Tarantino's favourite muse Uma Thurman as a female assassin who is betrayed and almost killed by her peers. Five years later, she awakens from a coma and seeks bloody revenge.
