Wu Tang Clan's RZA has written a tribute song to the late Nelson Mandela – listen to it below.

The song, a piano ballad, is called 'Gift Of Hope', and features vocals from singer Will Wells.

'Gift Of Hope' follows the release of 'Destiny Bends', a song RZA wrote last week in response to The Fast And The Furious actor Paul Walker’s death, also with Will Wells. Both were posted on the rapper's SoundCloud as demos.

The post was accompanied by a long text by RZA, real name Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, stating: "Great men are known by the mark they left on their country masses… Hard working mothers and fathers see the results when the children raise their family to higher heights."

RZA added that he was "inspired by the great Nelson Mandela and the cast of #Gangrelated", the hashtag referring to his new TV series.

Last month (November 22), the rapper said that production of Wu-Tang Clan's new album is "45 days" away from being completed. The group – who recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)' – are working on a new album which was loosely scheduled for a 2013 release. Earlier this year one new song, 'Family Reunion', was taken from the album, although there is no official release date for the record as yet.
