Richard X, Jamelia and Morrissey all score high new entries...

SHAPESHIFTERS are the new UK Number One.


The dance act’s ‘Lola’s Theme’ dislodges Usher’s ‘Burn’ from the top spot after three weeks, which drops two places to Three.


Meanwhile, Richard X’s collaboration with Rachel Stevens, ‘Some Girls’, is a new entry at Two. Jamelia and Morrissey are now Five and Six with ‘See It In A Boy’s Eyes’ and ‘First Of The Gang To Die’ respectively.


Outside the Ten, Snow Patrol go in at 23 with the re-released ‘Spitting Games’, Velvet Revolver enter at 35 with debut single ‘Slither’ and Bloc Party make their Top 40 debut at 38 with ‘Little Thoughts’.


On the album chart, Scissor Sisters’ self-titled album climbs one place to Number One.
