Singer suffers ordeal in London

Rachel Stevens threatened and robbed in her home

Former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens was robbed in her London home after being followed by two burglars yesterday (June 9).

Stevens was followed home in the afternoon by three men, who ambushed her as she entered her Regent's Park flat, reports BBC News.

The men threatened her then stole items including her engagement ring (she is engaged to actor Alex Bourne) and other jewellery items.

Her spokesperson said that the experience had been "distressing" for the former 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "It's believed the woman returned to her flat and was followed in to the premises by three males.

"The suspects are understood to have threatened her before making off with a quantity of jewellery."
