Influential Manchester label Deconstruction to relaunch

Dance record label Deconstruction, which released records by acts including Sasha, Way Out West, M-People and Kylie Minogue, is to relaunch.

The label, which originally run between 1987 and 2001, is being relaunched by Sony's Senior Vice-President of A&R and M-People founding member Mike Pickering and management company Three Six Zero Group.

The newly-relaunched label's first release will be a reissue of Sasha's 1999 'Xpander' EP, which will come with new remixes, on August 3.

Lionrock's 1993 single 'Packet Of Piece', featuring the original Chemical Brothers remix, will be issued in September.

The label is set to sign new artists later in 2009 and announce details of further releases.
