Scissor Sisters set for free London show

Scissor Sisters will play a free gig in London’s Trafalgar Square on September 16.

Tickets for the show are being distributed by an online and text draw.

Funds generated by the fans applying for tickets will be donated to aids, tuberculosis and malaria charity the Global Fund.

Scissor Sisters have called all of their surviving grandparents to gush with excitement," explained band member Babydaddy of the show. London is our spiritual home, and the UK gave us our first and longest-lasting embrace.”

The band added that those who get tickets must “dress in your finest red threads to celebrate” the fact the gig is being held in support of the Joinred.com campaign.

For more information on how to win tickets go to the band’s official site Scissorsisters.com.
