Fancy dress is required!

Scissor Sisters have announced details of an intimate Halloween show.

The band will play Brixton Academy in London on October 31. The show is being held in aid of climate charity Global Cool.

According to Scissorsisters.com, the band state: "Fancy dress is required!"

The band have also added two more UK shows:

Manchester Apollo (October 30)
Glasgow Barrowlands (November 20)

For ticket availability for their UK shows go to NME.COM/gigs from Friday (October 13).

For more information on the Halloween show see Global-cool.com.

These new shows are expected to be unaffected by the cancellation of three dates on the band's current North American tour.

Scissor Sisters couldn't play in Minneapolis(October 7) and Chicago (October 8), plus have additionally cancelled their Toronto date on October 10 due to guitarist Paddy Boom suffering an injury.

"Paddy (Boom - guitar) who has been performing despite ongoing back problems, will be getting some enforced rest and further medical attention," a statement on the band's offical site explained. "Cancelling dates is extremely upsetting to the band, but we promise to be back on our feet and to return to these cities as soon as we can."
