Scissor Sisters have revealed how they managed to get Kylie Minogue to perform with them at this year's Glastonbury.

Minogue appeared during the band's Pyramid Stage set on Saturday (June 26), singing 'Any Which Way' with them.

In a video interview with NME – available to watch on the right of your screen now – Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears said he initially got in touch with the Australian singer via text.

"I texted her about five weeks ago – I just had the idea," he said. "I was pulling into an airport somewhere and it just popped into my head, and I sent her a text saying, 'Do you want to do a song with us at Glasto?', and two minutes later I got a text back with capital letters being like, 'Hell yeah!' We got on the phone immediately and I was like, 'We've gotta make this happen! Let's do it.'"
