Legendary singer Scott Walker has completed work on his first album for ten years.
The long-awaited new album will be called ‘The Drift’ – it’s the star’s first since 1995’s ‘Tilt’.
It will be Walker’s first album on the 4AD label, and is due in May.
A documentary film about Walker 's music - including the making of ‘The Drift’ – is currently being made by the New York based director Stephen Kijak.
Titled ‘30 Century Man’, after a track from his ‘Scott 3’ album, it will also be released in 2006.
