Singer charms female admirers at Scottish bash

Seasick Steve serenades fans on stage at T In The Park
Seasick Steve played an early evening set at the T In The Park festival today (July 13), during which he invited two female fans on stage and played them love song.

Four songs into the set Seasick Steve, clad in dungarees and a cap, made his 'romantic' overtures.

"You, you in the fluorescent glasses," he bellowed, pointing to a fan in the crowd, before hauling the festival-goer - who was wearing a Scottish national flag as a dress - on stage along with her friend and then serenaded the pair, who danced alongside him.

Earlier in the set Seasick Steve has declared his love for Scotland. "I love coming to Scotland," he explained, "'cos you're all a little nuts."

He then gave a warning to crowd members who had been throwing things on stage.

"The next person who throws some shit at me, I'm gonna get down and kick their ass," he warned. "Unless it's whisky".

The bluesman then slugged whisky straight from the bottle - "A little refreshment, there", he noted - before playing songs including 'Cut My Wings', 'Chiggers' and 'Thunderbird'.

Near the end of the set, the multi-instrumentalist dedicated a new song to his late dog, Boss.

"I had a dog and he gone died on me," he told the crowd. "That broke my heart, I had him since he was a puppy. So I wrote a song for him."

Seasick Steve ended his show with 'Dog House Boogie after giving a heartfelt thanks to the crowd.

"Thank you so much, it means so much to me that you came," he said, while patting his heart area with his hand.
