Secret Machines let the public have their say!

They've roadtested their new album

Texan prog rockers and Noel Gallagher faves Secret Machines are to release their second album on March 27.

However frontman Brandon Curtis said they’re not feeling any pressure as the public have already had their say on ’10 Silver Drops’.

“We’d written most of the material on the road and there’s something about performing it in front of an audience, you’re getting immediate feedback, it had a lot of bearing on the album we made,” explained Curtis.

Recorded in upstate New York’s Catskill Mountains and mixed in London, Curtis added the immediate-sounding record owes at lot to backdrops that created it.

“The different locations added a dimension to this record,” he said. “It was rural where we recorded it, but it’s got maybe the tension of the city.”
