'Punk: A True And Dirty Tale' takes place in London's The Hospital from September...

An unique insight into SID and NANCY's infamous CHELSEA HOTEL room is go on view at a new exhibition opening in September.

Posters from the couple's room in which the Sex Pistol allegedly stabbed Nancy to death will form part of 'Punk: A True And Dirty Tale' taking place in London's The Hospital between September 24 and January 23.

The show chronicles the most significant points in punk's history such as fashion items from 'Sex' and 'Seditionaries' - the shop owned by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, handwritten lyrics from 'Never Mind The Bollocks' and rare examples of work by the The Sex Pistols' graphic designer Jamie Reid.

The gallery's cinema will also be screening a punk inspired film series scheduled to run throughout the duration of the exhibition.

The Hospital is located at Covent Garden's Endell Street and tickets are priced at £6.00 and £4.00 for concessions. For advanced tickets call 0870 386 7372
