Sex Pistols cover Hawkwind, Jonathan Richman at Summercase
It's an eventful night in Barcelona
Sex Pistols played to one of the biggest crowds of the weekend at the second day of the Barcelona leg of the Summercase Festival last night (July 19).
The UK punk veterans played an extended, cover-packed set that climaxed with unique takes on Hawkwind's 'Silver Machine' and Jonathan Richman's 'Roadrunner'.
Kings Of Leon also gave a nonchalant performance, almost identical in content to their Glastonbury headline show in June. Brazilian party poppers CSS and Foals hit the seafront Walkman Stage in the early hours.
However, the biggest turn-out was for legendary Spanish indie rockers Los Planetos.
Sex Pistols played:
'Pretty Vacant'
'17/Lazy Sod'
'No Feelings'
'New York'
'Did You No Wrong'
'Liar'
'Holidays In The Sun'
'Baghdad Was A Blast'
'Submission'
'Stepping Stone'
'No Fun'
'Problems'
'God Save The Queen'
'EMI'
'Bodies'
'Anarchy In the UK'
'Silver Machine'
'Roadrunner'
