Sex Pistols, Blondie members sign up for Rock & Roll Experience

MC5, Devo members to offer musical guidance at Hawaiian retreat

Members of the Sex Pistols, Blondie, The Beach Boys, MC5 and DEVO have signed up to participate in The Rock & Roll Experience, a five-day musical retreat in Hawaii.

The veteran musicians will offer guidance to aspiring musicians through workshops, seminars, band rehearsals, private lessons and jam sessions at the retreat, which takes place October 7-11 in Honolulu.

Artists set to participate include Sex Pistols' bassist Glen Matlock, DEVO bassist Gerald V Casale, The Beach Boys' guitarist Al Jardine, MC5's Wayne Kramer and Blondie's Clement Burke.

There will also be a live grand finale performance in which participants will open for a legendary headlining band that has yet to be announced.
