Shack introduce us to 'Oscar'...

SHACK will release a new single 'Oscar' on February 28.

The track was recorded with Catatonia producer Tommy D, and does not feature on the band's recent 'HMS Fable' LP. Written by lead singer/songwriter MICK HEAD last year, 'Oscar' is a wry commentary on Holland's attitude towards the disabled.

The single will be available in two CD formats. The first will include acoustic versions of 'Streets Of Kenny' from 'HMS Fable' and 'Queen Matilda', from Shack's 'The Magical World Of The Strands' album. The second CD will include acoustic versions of 'Captain's Table' and 'Daniela', taken from Mary Ann Hobbs' Radio One show recorded in May 1999.
