Shania Twain and Taylor Swift paid tribute to the film 'Thelma and Louise' at last night's Country Music Awards (June 8) in Nashville.
The country music duo appeared on the opening skit along with Kid Rock and Donald Trump, parodying the 1991 hit movie.
Twain has also announced details of a Las Vegas residency, reports Entertainment Weekly.
The singer’s show 'Shania: Still The One' will open at The Colosseum theatre in Caesars Palace on December 2012.
The website for the show Shaniainvegas.com says the residency will last two years. In a press conference, the singer said of the shows: “I will let my imagination go wild. I’m going to go nuts creatively.”
Twain is set to release her first single in six years, ’Today Is Your Day’, later on this year. The track will premiere on her ’Why Not?’ reality show on Sunday (June 12).
