Shed Seven for UK tour and new material

Britpop veterans are back once again

Shed Seven for UK tour and new material
Shed Seven are back with details of a new tour and single.

The Britpop veterans are re-grouping once more after a successful UK tour in 2007, and are set to play 15 UK live dates throughout December.

Explaining the decision, frontman Rick Witter said in a statement: "The reaction to our reunion tour of 2007 was amazing and after a couple of memorable festival appearances last summer we couldn't resist the urge to play live together again this year.

"Fans can expect to hear all the singles, plus other past favourites that we didn't get the chance to visit in 2007."

Witter also revealed that this time around the band will be working on new material, and plan to release a download-only single later this year.

Meanwhile, the band are also giving away a free live album through their website, Shedseven.com. The songs, recorded on their 2007 tour, will be made available from May 15, with a new track available for download each following week.

Shed Seven will play:

Inverness Ironworks (November 30)
Aberdeen Music Hall (December 1)
Glasgow Academy (3)
Manchester Academy (4)
Newcastle 02 Academy (7)
Lincoln Engine Shed (8)
Nottingham Rock City (9)
