Plus is a James Bond legend bound for Glastonbury?

Ticket registration for this year's Glastonbury Festival has been extended to March 5 at 12pm.

Today (February 28) was due to be the last day fans could sign-up to be in the running for this year's bash, but due to high traffic levels organisers have moved the deadline to Monday.

Yesterday the festival received 1200 registrations per hour.

Anyone hoping to purchase a ticket for this year's festival, will take place between June 22 and 24, must register with the organisers by the end of today.

Fans must submit a photo - which does not guarantee they'll get a ticket - via Glastonburyfestivals.co.uk.

Then those who successfully buy tickets on April 1 will then receive a non-transferable pass featuring their photo.

Meanwhile Welsh singer Shirley Bassey has been reportedly approached to appear at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The singer who is famous for singing the theme tunes for the James Bond films ’Goldfinger’ and ’Diamonds Are Forever’, is in negotiations with the managers of the festival to play, according to The Independent.

If confirmed, she will join the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, The Killers Arctic Monkeys, The Who, Arcade Fire, Bjork, Hot Chip, Lily Allen and The Rakes.
