Singer set for 'full recovery' after stomach surgery
Dame Shirley Bassey has left hospital after undergoing emergency surgery on her stomach (May 27).
The 71 year-old singer was admitted to hospital in Monaco, where she lives, after complaining of abdominal pains.
According to her spokesperson she is now at home "resting up and on the road to a full recovery".
The singer is due to perform at Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday concert in Hyde Park, on June 27.
