Band forced to cancel dates after singer falls ill

Shitdisco have been forced to cancel the remaining dates on their UK tour after singer Joel Stone was struck down with a mystery illness.

The band pulled their Aberdeen and Hull shows earlier this week after Stone fell ill during their 16 day tour.

Although he was initially discharged from hospital, his condition deteriorated while he was on the road and he was forced to go back in.

The four-piece have now had to cancel tonight's (April 26) gig at London's Kings College and tomorrow's (27) show at Manchester Night & Day after doctors kept him in hospital for further tests.

"He's now stable but is in no state to play, doctors plan to run more tests in the next few days as they're still not actually sure what is wrong with him," the band said in a statement.

"Joel and the band hope to be 'OK' for their European tour which starts early May."
