Kate Nash to team up with Billy Bragg at Shockwaves NME Awards bash
Plus The Cribs and Johnny Marr, Manic Street Preachers and Klaxons to play live
In a night primed for collaborations both surprising and increasingly familiar, The Cribs will perform at the ceremony with ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, who joined them for dates on the just-finished Shockwaves NME Awards tour.
The evening will also see Godlike Genius award winners Manic Street Preachers perform at the ceremony with a mystery guest. Lightspeed Champion, Gallows with Lethal Bizzle and Klaxons will also perform.
Lightspeed Champion will perform his single 'Galaxy Of The Lost', Gallows and Lethal Bizzle will play 'Staring At The Rude Bois', while Klaxons will open the ceremony.
The ceremony will be immediately followed by the NME Big Gig at the adjacent O2 Arena, where Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Klaxons and The Cribs with Johnny Marr will perform.
