Shout Out Louds play gig to just two fans

Swedish rockers say it was a 'nerve wracking' show

Shout Out Louds played a gig to two fans in London last night (August 4).

Rather than signify a downturn in fortunes for the Swedish rockers, however, the gig was a one-off for a deserving competition winner.

John McMann from Hayes won the Impossible Gig competition after telling the band about an unfortunate incident at a previous Shout Out Louds gig.

"The first gig me and my partner Alisson ever went to together was the Shout Out Louds at Bush Hall in April. She had just fallen pregnant, and she was rushed to hospital after the gig and almost suffered a miscarriage," he told NME.COM.

"Thankfully, she and the baby are in much better health now. This is actually the last gig we're going to before the baby's born - watching them like this tonight is like a crazy dream!" he added.

Shout Out Louds bassist Ted Malmros said it was a unique gig experience. "It was more nerve wracking playing to two people than it is playing to two thousand. We're really glad John won the competition - and wish him all the best with the new baby."

Shout Out Louds played:

'Impossible'
'South America'
'The Comeback'
'Your Parents' Livingroom'
'Tonight I Have To Leave It'
'My Friend And The Ink On His Fingers'
'100 Degrees'
'Very Loud'
'Tonight I Have To Leave It'

The band will play to more fans at Dingwalls in London tonight (August 6).
