Sigur Ros man to exhibit art in Arkansas

Sigur Ros frontman Jon Birgisson will debut his artwork outside of Iceland for the first time in Arkansas next month.

The singer has joined forces with Parachutes' Alex Somers to create art under the name Riceboy Sleeps. They are set to make their US debut at Gallery 801 in Hot Springs, Arkansas from August 3 to September 7.

They'll then head Down Under for an exhibit at the Melbourne International Arts Festival October 11-27.

The art duo are also set to debut a video piece at Reykjavík's Sequences Art Festival in late October.

Meanwhile, Riceboy Sleeps have just completed the second printing of a book of their artwork.
