Sigur Ros play special acoustic show
Band play BFI Southbank and preview film
Sigur Ros are set to play a special acoustic show at the BFI Southbank on November 5.
It will come prior to the screening of their 'Heima’ film.
The film will get its UK premier at the BBC Electric Proms on October 24 and then screened at the BFI Southbank.
The DVD of the movie and double album ’Hvarf – Heim’ will be released on November 5 and the band will also release a limited edition 7” version of ’Hljomalind’ and ’Staralfur’.
Following its London preview, the film will be screened at the following locations:
Leeds Hyde Park Picturehouse (November 2,3)
Glasgow Film Theatre (5)
Liverpool FACT (30)
Cardiff Chapter Arts Centre (December 3-6)
Newcastle Tyneside Picture House (8)
