Sigur Ros announce screenings of documentary
'Heima' to be shown in selected US movie theatres
Sigur Ros have announced a number of theatrical screenings of their recently released documentary ‘Heima’.
The movie follows the band as they play a series of free shows in their home country of Iceland over the summer 2006.
All the screenings will feature surround sound audio.
‘Heima’ was released on DVD on November 20 and the release includes the film along with a second disc of live performances from all over Iceland, and there is a deluxe edition of the package that includes a 112 page hard bound photo book.
The screenings will take place at:
San Francisco, CA Embarcadero Center Cinema (December 18)
Denver, CO Chez Artiste (18)
Boston, MA Kendall Square Cinema (19)
Atlanta, GA Midtown Art Center (19)
Austin, TX Dobie Theatre (20)
Seattle, WA Metro Cinemas (20)
